Feeling Blue!

This week I had an amazing surprise when I got a beautiful dress sent to me from simplydresses.co.nz. I was allowed to pick my favourite dress and believe me it took me a long time to choose! For someone like me (a poor student) I don't own many formal dresses so picking something formal was an absolute dream. I eventually settled on a beautiful A-line, one shoulder dress. The best thing that I felt was that the dress is custom made to your order so there were no issues of ill-fitting dresses and you can even pick the colour that you prefer the dress in. I eventually decided on a lovely dark blue chiffon.

I just love the dress I feel so feminine as I am the sort of girl to live in her Doc Martins and army boots. I think that my favorite part of the dress is the detailing. The one shoulder design with the flowers, I just love!

The Fashion weeks are in full swing and the trends for Spring/Summer 13 are hitting the catwalks so with the new trends arising what are your favorites this season? Well I thought I would share with you some of mine! Phillip Lim's SS13 collection has hit the catwalk and has shown a strong theme of 90's grunge. Think Nirvana. With band t-shirts, layered materials and plaid trousers this trend looks to be a strong one for the highstreet.

The next trend that has caught my eye has been 1960's. Marc Jacobs collection is mostly inspired by this with others following suit. Looking at beehive's, swirling stripes and swinging coats.

Guns and Air Wair

Over the Christmas period I got an amazing pair of Doc Martens and it was only the other day when I was looking through my blog when I realised that I hadn't posted an outfit with them yet. So I thought I would do a brand new outfit post! I will probably try and do a few of these over the next few weeks as there are some great outfits that I have yet to post!

Hey guys sorry I haven't been posting as much as I would like to but I have been super busy as I have my deadlines for College. Anyways I shall get on with it! So I have always been a child of Rock and Roll especially as my Mum would always have Guns N Roses playing when I was younger, I know she has good taste. Hey ho lets go!

Hey so recently I got myself some new clothes including a Ramones top, they are one of my favourite bands! a new pair of shoes, which you seen in the previous post but I love them so here they are again! and some new patterned tights. I decided to put them together in an outfit along with my well loved bandanna to create a kind of grunge look. As I am a big lover of all things Rock and Roll I loved the outfit and I liked that I got to wear so many new things at the one time! So here is my outfit.

Insta-wha?

Hey guys, so I recently got myself a brand new phone as I was able to upgrade my phone contract and all that. So to cut a long story short I decided to get the IPhone 4S as my boyfriend got it a a month before me and I really liked it. So after getting it set up I decided to start downloading all the endless apps that I wanted to play with, one of them being Instagram. Loads of my friends use Instagram and because I used to have a Blackberry I was not able to use it before. So I have been having great fun with it so far and have been learning the basics. Baby its cold outside!

As I live in the forever frosty Scotland we always have our woolly jumpers and thick jackets at the ready but I feel like Winter has crept up on me even quicker this year. I'm waking up in the night freezing, my heating is getting turned up full blast and the car is having to sit with the engine on for a few minutes before I can start driving. So with these notions of Winter I thought its time for a new coat. I seen one I really loved in Primark but couldn't afford it at the time as my car decided that it needed some major repairs. So here I am cold and coat-less when my boyfriend surprised me by buying it for me! (Yes he is awesome) So here I have decided to take some pictures of my with my new coat! Ohh I also have a new shirt on too, enjoy!
